What it is.

Chipboard Planning.

Chipboard provides thickness and shape beneath a printed or specialty paper wrap. Core thickness, edge accuracy, wrap allowance, corner construction, and insert load influence the finished box more than the raw board colour.

Important distinction: Chipboard is the structural core material; rigid packaging is the assembled and wrapped format made from that core. Chipboard is usually not presented as the final visible print surface.
