Clay-coated news back provides a smooth coated face for graphics while retaining a recycled grey-back core. Caliper, visible interior colour, crease strength, and moisture exposure should be reviewed for the intended retail use.
Important distinction: CCNB is not the same as solid white cardstock: only the print face is bright and coated, while the reverse is grey recycled fibre. That makes interior appearance and edge colour part of the decision.
